The single biggest issue that Klinefelter’s Syndrome people suffer from (besides infertility) is obesity; however, unlike the normal definition of obese – you’re more “skinny fat”, where your shoulders, chest, arms and legs are normal, you’re generally quite fit but you hold fat around your stomach and thighs. The location of this fat that can become life threatening as it can lead to Metabolic Syndrome.

Metabolic Syndrome is the medical term for a group of life-threatening conditions, namely diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and obesity, which can lead to a greater risk of getting coronary heart disease, stroke and conditions that affect the blood vessels.
