In Fitness Training and Klinefelter’s – pt1 I spoke about why people with Klinefelter’s should exercise, dismissing the falsehoods and fake ideas that people with KS shouldn’t or can’t exercise due to the underlying health conditions that potentially affect KS. Elderly people are now hitting the gym, weight lifting to improve their bone density and muscle mass and using cardio machines to improve their cardiovascular health. All this is being encouraged by their GP’s as a way of extending their life and keeping them out of hospital. Elderly people suffer from arthritis, osteoporosis, diabetes and a whole host of other health conditions that people with KS suffer from earlier on in their life – so there is no excuse for not exercising with KS if elderly people are being encouraged to do it also.
